The Butler PR is a San Diego based indie film publicity firm started by publicist Daniel N. Butler. We work with up and coming filmmakers to help them spread the word about their movies.
Genres we specialize in include horror, comedy and thriller but we consider all genres with a unique angle.
Our methods are strategic to help ensure films rank above the limbo of non-studio films, achieving maximum exposure across IMDb, Letterboxd and Google search.
Daniel N. Butler
Dan Butler started editing videos in the late 1990s. His brother is a filmmaker who he as worked with as a post production editor and assistant, visual effects artist, boom operator and sound recordist.
Dan has been one of IMDb's top 2% of contributors since 2015. In 2020, he started learning the craft of publicizing films online, which he has become self taught in several of his own methods.
